Food of the Goods

Chocolate is a psychoactive food. It is made from the seeds of the tropical cacao tree, Theobroma cacao. The cacao tree was named by the 17th century Swedish naturalist, Linnaeus. The Greek term theobroma means literally "food of the gods". Chocolate has also been called the food of the devil; but the theological basis of this claim is obscure.

Cacao beans were used by the Aztecs to prepare a hot, frothy beverage with stimulant and restorative properties. Chocolate itself was reserved for warriors, nobility and priests. The Aztecs esteemed its reputed ability to confer wisdom and vitality. Taken fermented as a drink, chocolate was also used in religious ceremonies. The sacred concoction was associated with Xochiquetzal, the goddess of fertility. Emperor Montezuma allegedly drank 50 goblets a day. Aztec taxation was imposed in cacao beans. 100 cacao beans could buy a slave. 12 cacao beans bought the services of courtesan.

“Aztec Emperor Montezuma took no other beverage than the chocolatl, a potation of chocolate, flavored with vanilla and spices, and so prepared as to be reduced to a froth of the consistency of honey, which gradually dissolved in the mouth and was taken cold”- as William Hickling stated in his "History of the Conquest of Mexico" (1838).

Life is short - Eat Chocolate

There is no need to fell guilty when you eat a chocolate.
Could any one ingredient be more glorious? Doubtful. Chocolate inspires nearly everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest grandfather. It's undoubtedly the most fabulous food I've ever tasted.

Also it holds many benefits such as:
  • it tastes good
  • it gives a feeling of pleasure
  • it acts as an anti-depressant
  • it is a stimulant.

Did you know that people who eat chocolate live more than those that doesn't.
I love chocolate. I love chocolate. I love chocolate. I love chocolate. I love chocolate. Oh yeah, and did I mention that I love chocolate?

Love is like a chocolate, the best one is alredy gone!!!!

It is not that chocolates are substitute for love. Love is a substitute for chocolates.
But chocolate is, let's face it, far more reliable than a man. I never met a chocolate I didn't like. The taste of chocolate is a sensual pleasure in itself, existing in the same world as love.

But when you have eaten the chocolate you can buy another one immediately and you know for sure it will be good. And if you find a new man to love, you take your chance to hope that he would fit.

So, leave the chocolate to melt creamy and soft in your mouth and slide down your throat.

Chocolitious Life

Have you ever gone a long time without eating and felt your stomach groan with hunger?

Feeding your empty stomach with chocolate is like a bless. The ache goes away, your hunger disappears, and all of the sugar and caffeine hitting your system gives you the sensation of feeling "high." Buzzing with bliss, you wonder why you don't eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

And finally you realize that if it ain't chocolate, it ain't any meal.
While I’m eating my chocolate dinner I don't understand why so many "so called" chocolate lovers complain about the calories in chocolate, when all true chocoholics know that it is a vegetable. It comes from the cocoa bean, beans are veggies.
